So far November is looking better than most of October. My back is finally starting to straighten itself back out. Despite having worked the last two months with what was essentially a slipped disc or “thrown out” back…it’s not hurting as much to walk, sleep, breathe, eat, pee, or laugh. It still hurts, but at a more tolerable level. I also somewhat figured out the problems with the imagehost and I jumped ship to Verizon (Wireless).
My self-hosted image host is live! Or about as live as it will ever be. That’s because it’s literally something I built for just me! (I’m not selfish but build your own). I wrote part I last week, trashed part II in favor of using it a few days. Well…here we go.
Among some of the non-technical garbage on my old blog was an occasional post about my travels. There weren’t many due the pandemic not long after I’d started being able to do such things. But I got to do something last year I’d wanted to do for 20 years. It was not such a great road-trip after all.
So what happened? Where is everything? Why is everything 404’ing without those nice WordPress powered pages? I fucked up, other things fucked up, and it combined for the mother of all fuck-ups. (Which could also be assumption…but I’m also not hijacking a satellite.) Just keep readin…..
Yeah…our shit got all fucked up. Anything that was here, isn’t here anymore. We moved hosts; we’ll rebuild…something.
